Budget left us with no budget!

<p>I was recently in a car accident where a quantum (taxi) hit me in the front of my car. My car was not road worthy hence I sent in my claim to Budget Insurance. It took about 2-3 weeks for Budget Insurance to tell me that my car has been written off and decided that they will not payout. They reason is that the car is insured under my mother's name but I am listed as one of the users, so since my mom is the primary user they said they will not payout anything. This makes no sense as we have been paying insurance premiums faithfully so. They could have taken the value of the car and subtracted it to a higher access fee rather than leaving us with nothing at all, as we can't really do much with the car as there is too much damage already. It is sad when they sell you insurance, a beautiful picture is painted but when life happens they paint a different picture which is not so grand. What is the point of insurance then?...if one is left out in the cold nevermind that I went through a traumatic experience and almost lost my life, but the economy is not looking to good. Now one has to find a new car with no deposit because insurance would not give anything at all! I am truly saddened and disappointed. For that reason I will not take up insurance with Budget and try others hopefully there will be a different.</p>
