Budget is a total rip-off

I had a comprehensive insurance policy insuring my Vespa scooter with Budget for 8 1/2 years. They were charging me R1000 per month at the end. When I complained, they reduced it to R470 and would not go any lower. I obtained three independent quotes from three other companies, and they all were less than R200 per month. Even Hippo got comparative quotes and Budget was one of them at R196 per month. When I phoned Budget all they did was spin all sorts of excuses and stupid things like I wasn't taking into account the cash-back (10% a year for no claims). Ja right, overcharge me 500% and then insult me by insinuating I am stupid enough not to realise that 10% cash back does not compensate for being overcharged 500%. A total and unashamed rip-off! I don't understand how they get away with it under the radar of the consumer protection and other acts that are supposed to protect the consumer from being so overcharged. It really should be ******* to overcharge like that.
