Budget Insurance's ********* business practices

Consumers should be aware of my recent experience with Budget Insurance over the past 6 months.. Entered into an insurance contract with Budget during September 2022 @ a quoted premium of ~R869.00 p/m. Budget failed, however, to install a tracking device in the vehicle as per the T&C's. Upon contacting Budget to sort out the matter, the latter unilaterally increased the premium to ~R1,250.00. I again contacted Budget to query the aforesaid. Following numerous discussions with Budget & Netstar representatives the master remained unresolved. Following another series of discussions, Budget again increased the premium to over R1,700.00, i.e. double the original quote.(This was admitted by the Budget representatives during the process of cancelling the policy). Due to the aforesaid experience , I was compelled to cancel the policy, which proved to be another painful exercise. I found Budget's business practices to be not only unresponsive, but *********. People should be aware of Budget's practice of increasing the premium unilaterally without proper consultation or explanation. PS: it is abundantly clear that the Budget consultants are not fully trained to deal with a dispute.
