BUDGET INSURANCE - You always get nothing OUT

I had a claim with the mentioned insurance company regarding an incident whereby both my run flat tyres were damaged. I hen purchased BMW approved brand new tyres at a reputable store not aware of any other specific damages. The tyres were about to be balanced and aligned and this was when i was informed that that the shocks and suspension was also damaged and this now became and insurance claim. The vehicle had not left the tyre workshop and i began the insurance claim telephonically. I had liaised with the necessary parties and the vehicle was towed to an approved panel beater. I specifically told the assessor to inspect the damaged tyres which was placed in the boot of the vehicle. This request was blatantly disregarded on their behalf and they have no explanation to date with regards to them being so unprofessional. I have made online attempts to resolve my refund for the tyres but have not been contacted to come to an amicable solution. They have informed me that they cannot be resposible for the refund of the tyres as these tyres were purchased prior to the insurance claim. They are however very well aware that the additional damages were only noticed on the balancing and alignment ramp which takes place after the new tyres are fitted on. I am definately goiung to takethis matter further and regard this matter to to the necessary ombudsman and get the consumer protection parties as well. I am totally disgusted with their service!!
