Budget Insurance unreliable
On 17 Dec 2022 I was involved in an accident with your client whom he agreed that he was at fault and his insurance will cover everything as he is insured with you budget insurance. During the December I was told that you are not able to fix my vehicle due to the panelbeating companies being closed for festive season and that it shall be attended to in January of 2023. I agreed to the proposal and waited for Jan 2023 for Budget to fix my vehicle as a third party claimer. 6 Jan 2023 I got a response from Mr Yasheen stating that they will only pay 80% of the damage from a quotation or assessment that they have obtained via damage photos (imagine a picture! How unprofessional and ***********) which it amount to the total number of R96000. I then took my car to the very same agent to do the physical assessment and the quote is R138000. And I went to the different agent to test the market, which it amounted to R148000 and they recommended that my car is beyond repair or uneconomical. The feedback was sent to Yasheen to review the decision. They still do not want to pay the total cost of the damages. This is an alarming situation to clients whom they think they are covered for third-party liability. This client is promised to be covered for an amount of 5 million rand but now your failing to repair my car. Your client crashed into my car and he promised to fix it. I just want my car to be fixed with genuine parts as it was found. I am not able to execute my business duties from December to date because of this inconvenience situation.
