Budget insurance representatives treated me as if I were a *****.

As far as I am aware, I have home assist benefit, which covers the cost of a call-out fee and one hour's labor for plumbers, with a maximum of five call-outs per year. This morning, I discovered a leak in the pressure valve of the pipe that connects water to the refrigerator. At 12:22, I called Budget Insurance to see if they could send a plumber. To cut a long story short, I was told after 11 minutes and 48 seconds on the phone that I am not covered for the problem I am experiencing. At 16:16, I called Budget Insurance again, and a different representative treated me like an idiot who has no idea what they're talking about. After I lost my cool, I was assigned a plumber to help me. The plumber arrived at my house at 18:35, asked what was wrong, and I told him the same thing I told the two budget insurance representatives. The gentleman then asked me to show him the pipe. looked at it and asked if he could come fix it tomorrow morning. It didn't take him more than 30 seconds to realize it was a plumbing issue. I spent more than 20 minutes on the two budget calls, talking to people who were most likely not plumbers and treating me like an idiot. At this point, I'm done and looking for a company that won't waste my time unnecessarily.
