Budget insurance refuses to assist with excess recovery

Still no developments regarding excess recovery for a claim from 15 months ago (2021-04-22). There’s absolutely no attempt or whatsoever from budget insurance’s side to even bother updating me on why they’re refusing to assist on the excess recovery. Sadly, the only way to get any communication out of them is through helloPeter. It is now vividly clear that budget insurance regards me as a pathetic client who will continue to pay premiums while no finger will be lifted on their side to assist in the recovery of the excess or when they are needed the most.

My observations and experience so far:

1. BUDGET INSURANCE DOES NOT RESPOND TO EMAILS(just automatic replies with no follow ups from ***).

2. HELLO PETER IS THE ONLY PLATFORM THROUGH WHICH YOU WILL GET A RESPONSE ABOUT YOUR COMPLAINT(Don’t get your hopes high though, just a condescending call and more lies about how you should expect quarterly feedback on the progress of the excess recovery)

3. 100% GUARANTEE THAT THERE WILL BE NO EFFORT TO RECOVER YOUR EXCESS ( even if you ensure that you get the other driver’s Full name, ID number, Contact number, Address, Vehicle description, Vehicle registration number, Note the weather, road conditions, date, and time, Report the accident at the nearest police station to open a case- this is all just a waste of time and effort as budget insurance will not play their part).

Conclusion: Third class customer service, inefficient communication systems, low on value- High on premiums. Cancellation of this policy and never looking back makes sense. On the brighter side, I can’t help but notice the amount of positive reviews from OUTSURANCE clients regarding the successful recovery of their excess.
