Budget insurance policy ***
<p>My son was in an accident his car has been at Auto Magic for 30 days now and Budget insurance only paid for 15 days car hire we paid the other 15 days now Auto Magic claims that Budget is delaying the repairs as they have not authorized the fixing of the car and it will take a further 2 weeks. Who will not be liable for the car hire now because its Budget who is at fault now</p>

Kindly be advised that the claim was approved on 6 April 2016 and the authorization is automatically generated to the panel beater. There was no delay in terms of the processing and finalising of the claim itself.
We wish to confirm that the client only pays a premium to enjoy the car hire benefit for 15 days; thus the reason the car hire had to be returned after 15 days. There is no time period allocated to the number of days it can take to have the vehicle repaired as there are several variances and factors involved based on the make and model of the vehicle and the availability of the parts.
We have escalated the matter to our Repair Division to do a follow up with the panel beater and to provide you with an update as a matter of urgency.
