Budget Insurance pathetically decline my household claim

On the 22 February 2022,I have instituted a claim after my apartment was broken into in my absence .I have submitted full police report which was done by officers from Alberton police station and the senior consultant from Budget Insurance came to meet me to discuss details of the claim and had a list pf ****** items which I earlier emailed to Budget insurance.

On the 10 March 2022, the same senior consultant called me telling me that the my claim for house hold insurance has been decline ,saying the main reason being that I failed to produce receipts for the missing items. In all fairness ,one out of hundred people still do not retain their receipts after we are satisfied with the items bought .I feel this is just extremely unfair. Who keeps receipts for clothes and other items for long!!!! As much as insurers always look for loop holes not to settle claims, in this incident ,its just unfairly pathetic!!!!
