Budget Insurance is the worst.!!! ***

<p>Budget Insurance refused to settle my claim for my car that was written off in an accident during April 2016 on a national/public road in Kzn, South Africa. There was no negligence on my part and my policy was up to date. I have two cars but the car in question was not with me on a fulltime basis. Maryka and Jaco from Budget insurance informed me that my claim was refused/denied because my residential address on their system shows a Free State address. There is no logic in their argument because the accident occurred on a road and the car was not damaged/****** from a specific address. My friends and family already know about the raw deal I got from Budget and be sure that they will loose more potential customers.</p>

We acknowledge receipt of your complaint. We further note that you have been in contact with our Internal Dispute Resolution Department who has made an offer to you based on the portion of the correct premium received. In this specific case due to the fact that you relocated to a higher risk area and the accident occurred in the higher risk area; the premium you were paying at the time was not correct. Had we been informed of the change in risk timeously and ammended your policy accordingly; the claim would have been paid in full. We sincerely do empathise with you in this regard; however we can confirm that the offer made to you was fair based on the premium you were paying at the time.
