Budget Insurance is bad news! Stay away.

I cancelled my car insurance with immediate effect on 27 March via telephone and was assured by the agent that the policy has been cancelled. I also requested that the payment be reversed. The agent assured me that it was reversed. When i visited the bank, I found out that it was reversed but the stop order reactivated 2 days later. So they paid back he money and took it again 2 days later. When I called them again, the agent said the reversal would take 7-10 days. What I don't understand is that it could be reversed immediately the first time when I cancelled and now it will take 7-10 days. Thse people don't know what integrity means. They tried to convince me to stay with them, and after I'd refused, they are now trying ***** me anyway they can. My advice to everyone out there is to stay away from Budget Insurance. I requested the recording of my call.when I cancelled (which is my right). So far I have not received anything. They are unsavoury and ************ when it comes to service. My next step is to report them to the Consumer Council and Ombudsman.
