Budget insurance DOES NOT pay out claims!

I Have Comprehensive cover for my Car, 2 months ago I moved within Gauteng, from Centurion to Sandton. (24kms apart) , I am still settling in and awaiting proof of address from the new landlord, I then was unfortunately in a Car accident where my car lost control and hit a wall and was subsequently written off. Budget insurance did heir investigation and has concluded that because i had not updated my address with them they will not pay out my claim. I am very disappointed with this, I have never missed a premium since I have been with them. I fail to understand how an accident on the road has any correlation to my residential address.

I hope this can be resolved and that my claim can be paid out.

This reminds me of the case with another insurer which was trending on social media last year where it was concluded that when there is no correlation between any missing information (information that has not been updated) there is NO reason not to pay out the claim. I am very saddened by this and I hope writing here will help.
