Budget insurance (Dents and Scratches) - bad service when you claim

I lodged a claim with Budget in September 2017 - it is now November and they have still not settled the claim. The claim was for the Dents and Scratches policy, they kept blaming their service providers for not uploading their quotes (yes I was sent to two when I called in to complain). I phoned in today to be told that the service provider has still not uploaded the quote so I promptly canceled the policy. I then get a call to say that they are proceeding with my claim and seemed "surprised" when they heard that I canceled. Their people are rude and dismissive. They might be cheaper but you lose out in the long run.
