Budget Insurance debited my account after I cancelled contract, still waiting for refund

I was a budget insurance client for over a year for my car insurance. I recently cancelled my contract with them but they still went on to debit my account. I tried to call them to ask them to refund my account, they tell me it will be a long process and the best thing I could do was to reverse it personally with my bank. They are making their problem, to be my problem. It has been over a week still no refund, no communication from them. I am very disappointed and would not recommend anyone to make business with them
