Budget Insurance Avoiding Liability – A Classic Cop-Out!
I am extremely disappointed with the way Budget Insurance has handled our third-party claim.
My wife, who is uninsured, was recently involved in an accident with a Budget-insured driver. The traffic light was out of order, and while my wife proceeded cautiously, the insured driver drove straight into her vehicle.
The official Accident Report clearly notes that the Budget-insured driver admitted his brakes failed – which is a clear admission that he was unable to stop, inherently acknowledging that he should have stopped.
Despite this, Budget Insurance has denied liability, citing "contradicting versions of events." This is nothing more than a technicality used as a convenient excuse to avoid paying out. We find this both ********* and irresponsible.
We trusted that Budget Insurance would uphold its obligations, especially when their client was clearly at fault. Instead, we are left to bear the cost while they protect their bottom line.
If this is how Budget Insurance treats legitimate claims, I would strongly caution anyone against insuring with them. It’s shameful and unacceptable.
