Budget Insurance are a bunch of *****,********, ******** and ******s

On the 8th of July, I was a victim of Car or signal jamming where my entire laptop bag was ****** from my boot. The bag had my laptop , passpord, ID, Driver's License, wallet and other valuable items which were specified under my home contents section.

I was so angry, sad and feeling a bit depressed as i have lost valuables worth +- R48 000 which i have accumulated over a period of time and now do not have the funds or money to replace this items again. However, the idea of knowing that I am at least insured this items, put my mind at ease hoping that Budget Insurance will have my back. Unfortunately, that was not the case, they had turned their backs on me in time of need, only to discover after i have registered a claim that I am alone in this and after paying for all my premiums since 2016.

I was told that my claim will not be honoured since there is no physical damage to my car during or after the incident. I was told to read the terms and conditions which they never sent to me.

In other words, they were are telling me that they ONLY cover for this items if they were in my boot and there is physical damage to the car, so if i get ****** or ****** at gunpoint, i am all alone and will not get cover even if you provide proof that the items where forcefully taken from you.

In my case, my car was tampered with for the items to get ****** and to me, that is forced entry as they were forcefully taken or ****** without my permission or knowledge.

I feel cheated, ****** and ****med by Budget Insurance after being loyal to them since 2016. I have had other insurance providers offering me cheaper insurance and decided to stay hoping that i am being a loyal customer to them and in the time of need, they will pull through for me but i had **** to myself and regret not taken my money elsewhere where i will feel valued.

To all consumers, i would advise you to reconsider joining budget insurance and if you are already a customer, i would get worried, your safety will be compromised and you will NOT get cover
