I am very disappointed with Budget Insurance VAPS (tyre and rim cover ).I took out the cover cause it would be expensive to fix my rims/tyres when it gets damaged .I declared the amount of the rims if I had to replace them and I got my premium/monthly amount .Now when I claimed they advised me that they only pay out R1000 per claim of 4 wheels which is not even a fraction of the amount the rims cost me .All 4 rims got damaged .I took all 4 rims to Tiger Wheel and Tyre cause they work with them and they did the assessment and send the quote Budget .TWT gave me some discount and still the amount budget want to pay out is also about 7 times less then the quote ..When I took out the claim I was advise they will payout 1000 per rim and i have a limit of two claims per year .I now have a bill of 7k+ almost 8k and I apparently took out a POLCIY for only R1000
