Budget doesn't even deserve 1 star

Let me start off by saying that I am only giving Budget insurance 1 star because I am unable to give then a negative amount of stars. What an absolutely terrible service provider, they blatantly tell you lies about how everyone knows things should work in order to ***** MONEY FROM YOU. I was involved in an accident end Jan 2021, someone had driven into the side of my car and it was completely not my fault. The other driver was driving a hire car. I reported it to Budget insurance, and I gave them all the information they needed. First of all, I was lead to believe that I had to pay the entire amount to fix the car and not just the excess. After about 6 phonecalls back and forth and after requesting cash in lieu for the fixing of my car they changed their story to say I only have to pay the excess. I then had my car fixed and paid the excess. Then the wait began for them to claim the money from the third party so that the money I had spent could be reimbursed. I called over and over and I just kept being told, the case is here or there or waiting for this or whatever. I was told it could 3-6 months for me to get my money back. Inbetween all this waiting and frustration, I also got asked again for all the documents I had sent the Monday after the accident. This made me very anxious because that meant that while they were telling me the case is wherever, they didn't even know where the documents were which meant that THEY **** by telling me it was in progress. I just got a call now to say that they contacted the third party (the hire car place) and they said that the person who was driving wasn't insured so my case is being moved to another department. So now I am extremely confused, when you hire a car, if you cause an accident, don't u pay the liability fee or whatever it is called????? I was there with the lady that knocked into me, I saw the hire car papers. Besides all of this BS, what is then the point of me having insurance if I cant rely on them to sort things out for me when I have an accident (which is basically the main thing I am paying them for). What am I paying a monthly premium for then? I am extremely confused. I shudder at the thought of what would happen if my car got ******. I strongly do not recommend this Budget Insurance, they are *******. Companies, in these hard times with the pandemic and the grimm state of the financial sector should be happy to still be in business and therefore not give terrible, putrid service but it seems that some companies think they are invincible and continue to immorally get money out of people.

The only assistance I am interested in is getting my money paid back to me. I have had countless communications with Budget agents who haven't helped me, have given me false information, have been condescending, have ignored my requests...so I am interested to know how speaking to yet another agent is going to solve this problem. I'm sure I have spent all the money you guys owe me in calling you and interest on the loan I had to take out to pay the excess. I need someone to tell me what exactly is Budget Insurances role in insuring my car because I am coming up blank. Yesterday when I got the call to say that the legal department I was dealing with will not be helping me anymore because the driver was uninsured, the agent said she would put me through to the uninsured 3rd party department but she didn't put me through, she hung up the fone. If that doesn't scream ****, *******, PONZI SCHEME, then I don't know what does.

I cannot pay an apology back into the bank to get rid of debt now can I? Up until now, no resolution.
