Budget deducting for written off car!!!

After my car was written off,and I gave budget conpliments for how they handled things despite having some challenges. I had thought I had passed that stage of my life only to discover that budget( budget vap and budget warranty) deducted monies in my account for a written off car. After calling them, a bold consultant told me they wont give me a refund for the two months they were making deductions for a written off car...How does the main insurance from the same company fail to cancel the entire policy? I am told now I was suppose to inform them one by one of a written off car, whereas they all carry the same name which is budget...
