Budget are ******* and bullies

Absolute ******. My vehicle was hit from behind while stationary by an individual insured by Budget.

After multiple attempts to submit a claim through Budget with no luck, I decided to process the claim through my own insurance (CIB) and take the hit of having to pay the excess. They sorted out my claim timeously and are now attempting to recover the funds from Budget.

However, this is not where the story ends. I have been in communication with the person who hit my car ever since the accident occurred. On multiple occasions, the party has admitted fault to me, as well as Budget Insurance.

In the Budget clients words: "They are *******. I told them I was at fault when I first submitted my claim, and they record all their calls."

Despite this, I get frequent messages from Budget's "legal team" telling me that I owe them over R50,000 or I will face legal action. It is getting to the point of harassment. My own legal representation has contacted the legal team and told them to stop harassing me, to no avail.

What's worse is that their client got a quote for their car to be repaired for around R6,000, but Budget ended up writing off her vehicle. Where they get the amount of R50,000 I have no idea.

Obvious scare tactics and harassment.
