Breach the POPI Act

Unsolicited calls in breach of POPI.

When asking the call agent where she got my details she advised me that she obtained it from the POPI Act. When I advised her that she could not have obtained same from the Act as the Act prohibits such calls and giving of personal information she became extremely rude, refused to confirm where she in fact got my details and furthermore refused to confirm that she would delete my details.

This is in breach of POPI and I expect the business to confirm where they received my information and that same has been deleted failing which I will report them to in terms of the POPI Act
