Bad service -

Worst experience!!!!

In December 2025 my car was involved in an accident Claim was approved, budget asked me to drop my car at At & t Autobody for repairs, car was booked in on the 10th of January, when I dropped it off @ at & t Autobody the lady said the repairs will take 3-4 weeks. On the fourth week, I phoned them to check progress on my car, I was told my car will be ready by 06/02/2026. On the 4th of February, I tried to phoned them to confirm the collection date, and it didn’t go through. I then decided to check their operating hours online, that’s when I discovered that the company is permanently shutting down.

So, I panicked and phoned budget for answers. I spoke to a lady, and she said “ I will find out from the assessor and get back to you, this will take 24-48 hours”. 2 days after, still no feedback from budget. I phoned them again, spoke to another lady, and All I heard was “ I will put in a complaint for you, this will take 24-48 hours”. 48 hours pass, still no feedback from budget. So, I decided to phone them again, and guess what, this third consultant said “ I will put in a complaint and get back to you, this will take 24-48 hours”.

While I was trying to figure out what’s happening with my car, I received an sms from another repairer (12/02/2026) - “ we have received an authorisation from your insurance to commence repairs to your vehicle “ . Budget didn’t even bother to explain the move from one repairer to the other.

I then decided to phone this new repairer for lead time, and the guy said 10-15 workdays to work on the car. That’s when I asked budget for a courtesy car for inconvenience .The courtesy car was booked for 8 days, why?? I also don’t know. Today is the 8th day, I’m returning the courtesy car, and still repairs on my car is not done. I don’t have any means of transportation.
