Bad company
1. Scratch and dent insurance not worth it. 2. Promise of lowering fees not kept. 3. Not reacting to emails. 4. Difficult to hear on the phone. 5. False advice given. 6. Takes long to call them. 7. Not communicating via email although I repeatedly requested email as my preferred method of communication.

1. The guy at scratch and dent was very brusque today. His excuse was that my option in July 2022 was to submit a quote and I didn't. He did not take into account that I wrote many emails to try and get the email address I was supposed to send the quote to. I had lost it.
2. A lady advised us to take extra insurance since we needed to get the car moved from home to a repair shop. We did it. The next day we were told the new insurance did NOT cover recovery from home.
3. A man gave us a lowered fee after I wanted to cancel insurance because of affordability. It never realised. I tried following up, calling, writing emails. All to know avail. So I had to cancel.
4. I requested to be taken off tyre and rim insurance about 4 years ago and they SAID okay. Today I found out I was still on it!
5. The whole ethos of Budget is money, money, money. I am paying far too much for 3d party insurance on my vehicles. I'll have to cancel that as well.
6. I have an anxiety problem. That's why I requested communication via email. I'd be very ashamed if I had to work for that company. Ignoring emails, and then putting the blame on ME for not sending the quote in time!
Now I can be free of this frustration. I'm going to get quotes for my 3d party insurance (and fire and theft they pushed on us) and move that from Budget as well.
