Bad claims assessments
Budget sent their Assessor to check the damages on the car and he confirmed that the car was stripped vandalized at the police impound. He told me that the accelerator unit was taken off, the radiator pipes were tampered with, the speakers and amplifiers were also ****** (worth about 6 grand). He told me the car will be written off especially due to the damages of the vandalism at the impound. Budget then allocated a tyre specialist to check the my tyres and he said that the rear right tyre was smooth and the front left had alignment wear. the front right was ok and rear left brand new. The specialist also said that these are 4 different makes of tyres. My claim was then declined because they say the car was not roadworthy due to the smooth wheel. I say my wheels were swopped at the impound when everything else was being ****** along with the rest of my belongings. We all know what happens to car that's at the impound for over a week, almost 2 weeks. Now Budget won't even investigate this matter. They finalized a claim without an accident report. They don't even know the exact spot where the accident happened but they say I could have avoided it.
