Terrible experience Auto & General is 100% better than Budget Warranty. Budget automatically lapsed my Vehicle Warranty because I paid via a link with a voucher and the debit order didn't go through. Why even send the link if it's not going to reflect on my policy on the system even after calling in the same day to check if the payment was received and the consultant confirmed that payment was received.

I've had 5 phone calls from Budget Warranty with no real reason as to how the warranty policy lapsed even though I have made payments via the links provided. Taking note that every time I paid via the link I then called Budget Warranty to confirm receipt of the payment and each time the consultant would confirm that the payment was received via the link. Now that the policy has lapsed due to unpaid debit orders even though I paid via the link, none of these link payments are reflecting. I find this very convenient. I am trying to explain to the Budget Warranty Team in all departments that there's clearly a systems error where the payments were not allocated therefore causing the policy to Lapse. One cannot rely on systems to populate information without a human capturing the information. Especially in this case where the debit order was returned unpaid. Why are human beings so lazy and rely on solely on systems. Do people not understand that what you put in you will get out. If you do not put in any information how are supposed to get out any information.

After me send 1 of the proof of the vouchers that were used to make payment, I am now cross questioned which bank account, what voucher and all sorts of ridiculous questions making it look like I made an error. How is it my error when the day the payments was made the consultants have seen the payments. Now all of a sudden the way the voucher was purchased might be the problem. How many more stories is Budget going to come up with for their error. Trying to make it look like the clients error.
Seriously, maybe go lie to someone who does not understand systems before trying to fool me. If the voucher was purchased incorrectly then the link would've rejected the payment. I received sms's every time a link payment was made. It's just that I have changed mobile devices and am unable to retrieve those messages as proof.
Budget Warranty you are a *****.
