Awful service! Claim still incomplete since Sept 2016

Last year September a candle in my bathroom started a fire on my blinds. The damaged looked worse than it in fact was. The assessor came through from Budget and told me that would need the roof replaced, the window, the marble under my basin, and wanted to replace all the tiles. This was him clearly loading the claim, as cleaning the "damage" revealed that my roof only needed painting and blinds and window replaced. Needless to say they sent a team who came through removed and replaced the ceiling, and wanted me to take them shopping for the blinds. You need to order blinds weeks ahead of time. The gentlemen worked so badly, and their attitude was quite pushy especially when I told them that the tiles didn't need replacing. They wanted to do more work than was necessary. I subsequently found a beer case outside my front door when I asked them to leave. I mailed budget several times to let them know that my job wasn't finished and that the team was not being upfront. They have left lights missing from the ceiling they unnecessarily replaced, the crack in my bathroom window from the heat is still there, and there are paint splatters and no blinds. I have had no luck dealing with Budget months later. I call, mail, and have even requested I get my own people to come through, but no one has done a thing! It's like I'm speaking to a wall. I paid the team they sent the excess already. Something really unsavory and ***** is going on. I am so disappointed. I want someone to own this mess and get my bathroom fixed to how it was before. This is what I pay for. And simply put, Budget is *****ing from me by not doing what they promise. This experience makes me nervous about future claims, thus I want to move my car and home insurance when this matter eventually gets resolved. Budget insurance is not a company I recommend to anybody. Be careful!
