Budget insurance client got involved in an accident with my partner and organized a tow truck to tow away both vehicles, now our vehicle is held hostage with tow truck company and they are demanding R20 000 and above for the storage and now the budget insurance is claiming to have organized a tow truck for one vehicle only which is their client only.
The tow truck company is refusing to release the vehicle while it is in their storage, incurring more and more of the storage fee. Though the vehicle is not even safe for that matter as it is exposed to the direct sunlight where they parked it.
Budget insurance further says they will finalize the claim after 30days and this is too much time for them to get our vehicle fixed while it is held hostage by their client.
I wouldn't recommend budget insurance to anyone, since I believe they're working with their tow truck supplier to incur more storage fee costs.
They are showing no intention to intervene to get this matter resolved and fix our car.
The client has got third party liability insurance with budget insurance and now they are taking us back and forth to get the car fixed. They are likely looking for the loop holes in order for them not to pay.

If it wasn't your client who bumped to our vehicle and the tow truck you organized, our vehicle wouldn't be held hostage at the moment.
We are greatly concerned with the service you are providing, and the safety of our vehicle as it is exposed to the direct sunlight currently.
And 30days for you to get it fixed is way unreasonable since we use that vehicle on a daily basis. We are now paying the installment of the car which we currently have no access to, because of budget insurance.
Please play your part urgently and stop taking us back and forth.
