28 days later and still no claim payout

I had an accident last month with my car and Budget insurance said that the car is a write off. It is now 28 days later and still no answer with regards to when the claim will be paid out. I can't get any answers from them, they say they \are following processes' every time I ask. I phoned to ask how long does it take to pay out a claim and the answer was as soon as the next day after write off has been established. Why is this taking so long and why am I not getting any answers? At this rate this case will go to the Ombudsman! I`m definitely thinking of taking my business elsewhere after this has been settled and will advise other people to stay away from budget. What is the point of insurance if they don't deliver on their promises when you need them to??????"
