Stay away from this company!!!!

I am in the process of building a house in Somerset West. I needed a contractor to put the roof on. Morgan Pritchard of Budget Build in the Helderburg quoted us and we accepted the quote. He could not do the job himself and passed it on to a Wihan Kotze. In my opinion this should not be allowed. We paid our deposit to Wihan Kotze to start the job. He arrived on site for a few minutes one day and perhaps an hour or so another day but never started the job. His excuse was that we had not supp**** electricity. This is despite him being aware it was a building site and he had a generator on the back of his vehicle when he was on site. My builders on site reliably informed me that Wihan Kotze had a dispute with his own workers as to payment which is why they never started the job. He has refunded me less than half my deposit back in drips and drabs and I am now seeking legal advice to recover the rest. If I call this \operation\" unprofessional that would be the understatement of the year!!! It is shocking and shameful that operators like this exist. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY"
