Budget baby

I'd like to report budget baby (Northview Shopping Centre, 2153 Randburg, South Africa) https://www.budgetbaby.co.za/ for not offering refunds on defective products instead offer in store credit which in essence leaves the customer out of pocket and unable to get their money back. Which goes against The Consumer Protection Act (CPA). We eventually got a refund of less than the purchase price. We where given an two options either accept the lower amount as a refund or the full purchase amount as store credit
