Refund after a flight was cancelled due to the weather.

Last year in April I booked flight tickets to Durban through budgetair and when we were suppose to get back our flight was cancelled due to the weather. SAA called us and informed me, they offered a different flight time and I said no it is not going to work out. The flight being cancelled is not my problem, I had to make other arrangements to travel back home. When I communicated this to budgetair, they gave me the run around and requested a letter from the flight company. To this date I am still waiting for my response fund and no one has interest in assisting. I will not stop until I get my money back rest assured.
