BudgetAir ****

I am appalled by the way people have been complaining about BudgetAir and nothing has been done. This dubious company continues to exist and ***** people's all in the name of a legal company. Honestly intervention has to be done and they should be brought to account for continuously *****ing people's hard earned money.

I bought a ticket on Tues to travel to the UK on Saturday for my sisters wedding. Everything went smoothly till 2 hours later after booking my flight. I received an email stating that my flight was cancelled as there was a change in pricing during my booking and the Qatar airlines has refused to issue a ticket on that pricing, due to that they will be refunding my money in 5- 10working days. Bear in mind i have a wedding to attend, if it was a casual visit better. I then contact there customer service agent named Krishna, she was just not concerned and brushed me off, instead she said i should by another ticket and that she cannot help me any further. I was taken aback by such a service, i asked her why they didnt call me and inform me of the new pricing, of it was an extra 1000rands i would have sacrifice than to sacrifice and extra 8112rands which does not exist. Or alternatively they should have given a voucher and i would have topped up than to make a decision on my behalf.

My other question is, why do reputable airlines such as Qater airlines deal with ********** companies like BudgetAir, are they in this together. 2nd- why do airlines give the travel agents false pricing as claimed by BudgetAir.

I am pained because now i have to attend my sistera wedding virtually because i couldnt raise an extra 8000rand in a short space of time to buy another ticket. BudgetAir has been claiming they have refunded but when i called my bank they said the money is still with BudgetAir and they havent authorised for the money to be refunded back inyo my account. I am so distraught and pained. There is nothing as annoying as doing everything right only to be pulled down by a so called company which claims to be legit. I will be taking the matter to the Consumer Protection as well. I contacted IATA and they said there is nothing they can do, but i tend to disagree because this ********** company BudgetAir claims it is a registered member, surely with all the bad reviews that i have read online IATA has a case to argue and cancel the BudgetAir certification. This ********** company has gone too far and needs to be stopped. They cannot continue operating in such a manner, in this economy majority are struggling to stay afloat financially and some company thinks they can use a platform to ***** money. @BudgetAir may you please give me back my money immediately, you took my money in a disguise that there is a ticket. @Qatar airlines, for the sake of your brand,please refrain yourselves from BudgetAir,you are now being dragged into the mud- i dont know if the excuse of BudgetAir is true or not,if its true you need to work on updating your pricing every 30minutes.@IATA,it is high time you start an investigation,ifba company claims it is registered by IATA we have a peace of mind because we certain that they are governed by a legal entity. But here it seems as if the legal entity is used as face because they know also you cant protect us directly. If you cang protect us directly,then surely you can protect us indirectly by revoking BudgetAir's license with you as they are continuosly *****ing money from consumers. I have read so many bad reviews from 7 years ago on this dame issue-people have not received their money since.
