BUDGETAIR IS A **** - AVOID AT ALL COSTS

This company is a complete and utter ****. Quick to take your money but when you end up in a crisis like I did early February ending up in hospital with emergency surgery trying to get assistance from their customer service department is non existent. I have been trying since early February to find out if I can get a refund as I had to spend a further $1500 on a new airticket. I took out their extra travel insurance which to me is a just a revenue stream for them, there is no insurance on their tickets sold. I have travel insurance through an external company but until Budgetair actually answer their phone or answer my emails to give me proof of refund i.e. yes or no my travel insurance company will not deal with my claim. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS - DO NOT USE BUDGETAIR!!!
