28 Aug 2023, 20:21Would like to share so people can see how buddy treat their drivers, today received call from ops manager shaun he told me they gonna have to terminate my contract the reason being have came and report them at hello on witch was supposed to consult them first, he never even ask me how m feeling since the incident on saturday night as was picking up client, this is not cool and its unfair treament.
On saturday 26th had pick up from rosebank, was supposed to pick up the client going to kempton park, however, my sweeper had problem with his phn so had to give him my phn do will be easy for him to drive to drop off location, so when clients were coming out of the restaurant, they were couples of them coming out and we buddy drivers were few of us at that center,
The mistake that happened is that one client recognised me as i did drive him home and was so happy and called me with my name, i lost it there as didnt realise that m not picking him this time around, we then left to drop off location, had explained to the client situation we have with my sweeper as he had to use my phn for directions, he agreed, only to find out that my sweeper will be going to the correct drop off location and me m going to the wrong one, had no phn with me no communication from my side, no one knw or can trace were i was, client was droped of safe at his place in kensinton and my sweeper drove to kempton park on witch was the correct address from the sms, lost contact like that with control center as well as my sweeper,
The area were i dropped of client is not safe, dangerous area, the tip i received from client, wanted to buy airtime at nearest petrol station and ask someone to top airtime to their phn n try phone the office to let them knw, but now one was willing to help as peoples dont trust especially that time of the night, was around 22h00,
Was hanging around and its getting late and its cold, decided to walk home to tembisa from kensinton, arrived home around 04h00 in morning, my feel were sore and swollen, later on had to be taken to hospital as i couldnt walk slept there got treatment, only came from hospital this morning, thats terrible
Its when i received call that my contract is been terminated, do this peoples actually they dont care abt their drivers, could have been ****** n killed out there, but they dont see all that, never had an issue since working there from previous year, but was treated like no body and they dont care of what i went through that night, so was supposed to be quiet abt all this, its bad treatment, people should knw how they operate towards their drivers
This is not a good business transation, there is no safety for drivers at all intead they will act as if u ***********...
