Car Insurance violets disabled driver rights
<p>"I am a paraplegic. I need to be sitted up when I drive, I currently have a pressure wound which I am recovering from an operation I had 7 weeks ago.<br />Since the operation I have not been allowed to drive and hence I have been using my mom's car to travel to and from the clinic. However a week before my accident my mother's car was involved in an accident and it got totalled.</p> <p>This called for the use of my car to travel to the clinic, on the day of the accident she had to attend to a family matter just outside town in Hammarsdale which is why I asked her sister who was available to take me to the clinic that day.</p> <p>The letter from the doctor that I sent you clearly states my condition and the one from the sister clearly reflects my attendance to the clinic on the day of accident despite me being involved in the accident that morning.</p> <p>I have to go back to work in two weeks if I have fully recovered, I work 50km away from home and not having the car fixed really inconveniences me in all ways possible given that I can't take taxis or any mode public transportation due to my physical condition.</p> <p>The driver of the vehicle was not at fault when the accident happened and hence it was not any reckless driving from our side.</p> <p>Please assist, I haven't had a car for three weeks now and it's taking it's toll on my life already as if it is not difficult to live in my condition already. Please understand my standpoint and help me."</p> <p> </p> <p>Axsure did not pay or offer assistance for my damaged vehicle and hence i havent been able to get to work.</p>
