Unprofessional and ********* business practices by BUCO
On 18 December I purchase electrical items from BUCO Vasco. As the CEO of a projects management service providing company I purchase small items for my clients from time to time as samples or in case of emergencies. On this day I purchase a wall switch socket and was serve by Salesperson Johannes Kleynhans who provided me a quotation document listing the items and from which the Cashier Thembisa Caciso rings up the amounts. I realised that the amount I paid sound bit higher than I calculated but because we had an emergency I just requested the cashier the quotation document to confer at a later stage. Upon inspection of the quotation and the cash slip it shows that the wrong item code was provided by the Salesperson escalating the price of the item with approximately R30. On Monday 21 December, I return to BUCO Vasco where I was serve by a male person who did not even greet or introduce himself, requested me to explain what is my enquiry and responded in an arrogant way that he cannot assist me unless I produce the physical item. He adopted a I don't care do whatever you want attitude when I informed him I will review their ********* and unprofessional approach in resolving the issue at hand. This is not my only issue with BUCO on other occassions I bought products from them that is quite pricey but of an inferior quality. I am more than 25 years in the Construction Industry in a management capacity and completed several major projects for my clients successfully. I am presently also a full-time Bachelor of Social Science student at Rhodes university with a legal stream as one of my majors and never experienced such arrogance from a supplier to refuse a credit of R30 due to the incompetence and negligence of their own staff. Unless the BUCO group issue a formal apology and refund my R30 plus I will launch a social media campaign against BUCO on all Social Media platforms and post it on all student community platforms
