The Other Hardware store

BUCO is a Nationwide Hardware franchise. There is a relatively new branch ( 5 months) in Sabie. I took a 9kg gas bottle to have it filled. They are not able to fill it. When I asked why I was told that they do not have certification to perform this task. When I asked them where I could get this done I was referred to a local Pleasure Resort on the banks of the Sabie river, who in turn told me that they don't have the correct fittings for that size bottle. They then referred me to Thompsons Hardware who I was pleasantly surprised to learn the existence of. I am a newcomer to town and did not know that there was another hardware store. I now see why BUCO did not send me there, it is an amazing shop with tons of hardware "stuff" and lots of helpful and informed staff. Cheers BUCO and hello Thompsons
