Poor service delivery and unfulfilled undertakings

On 2 November 2021 I visited Buco Grahamstown to arrange for 2 sections of wood for a cupboard. Nadene Gradwell assisted me and said she would investigate the availability of white melamine wood for a middle shelve. After I had no feedback during the morning of 3 November 2021, I again visited Buco and learned that zero attention was given to the problem as Nadene wanted to follow up on her undertaking when I visited, I told her that she does not have to resolve it there and then but that she must resolve the issue and in need arrange for shelve portions that I could purchase. According to her it could take months which I do not understand. Again she undertook to come back to me but when I received no feedback by the afternoon i visited the branch after 16h00 and learned that nothing was done and no one knows anythging about the matter and she was not in the shop or alternatively available and had to be phoned. To put this in contex , long ago Nadene also assisted me and made promisses about service delivery by a certain agreed time and when when I enquired after the deadline, I also learned that nothing was done. I was extremely upset because in terms of her undertaking, I made promisses to my client to perform certain services which I obviously could not perform.I told Nadine in no uncertain terms that I am extremely dissapointed and now we have a repeat of the bahaviour.

To the credit of Buco, one of the managers of Buco, Bresbie Du Preez was called when Nadine went missing and he could sort out the problem within 10 minutes.
