Poor Delivery Practice

On Saturday the 7th of October I bought 7X 5000l and 1X 2200l Eco water tanks from BuCo in Montague Gardens. The price was good and they had stock. I was told that delivery would cost R600-00 as it would be 3X deliveries to Brackenfell. I was also told that they would NOT be able to help me with deliveries on the Monday as they were already fully booked but Tuesday would be fine. I agreed and told them if they called me when leaving their site, I would arrange to be at the delivery site. What I was NOT told was that they would ONLY deliver SOME of the order on the Tuesday! After phoning BuCo at 09H23 on Tuesday the 10th to inquire if we are still on track for the deliveries, I finally received a phone call at 14H35 telling me the delivery was on it's way. To my surprise one truck with 2X 5000l and the 2200l tanks arrived. Upon phoning and speaking to James about the deliveries, I was told that the rest will be delivered the next day. I was then called by Jared who told me that they never agreed to deliver all my tanks on the Tuesday. The Wednesday, after receiving a call from James to tell me the truck is leaving, saw the delivery of 4X 5000l tanks on a slightly bigger truck. On Thursday I received a phone call from James to tell me the truck was already waiting at my site with the last of the tanks. In future I will definitely be more careful when arranging (perhaps get something in writing), and paying, for deliveries.
