Montague Gardens Buco Hardware

I was at Montague Gardens 'Buco Hardware' at 11:30 Am 16 February 2021.

My intention to look for and purchase wood poles, specifically large diameter pine treated poles for fencing /building etc..

First I waited 20min by the service counter who had 1 person working there and no structure as 2 people were helped before me not standing in the line as the person / employee was as if he was 'space' eyed.. looking all around not focusing..

Eventually a Lday came to help me.. I paid for the poles and proceeded to the pick up.. at wich point.. the employee/'s at the back TOLD me, why didn't I pay for cutting.. I was told at the pay counter to just ask for cutting.. that same employee then asked what I need as he couldn't understand the till slip.. I showed him the poles and he said and I quote..

" joh, joh, joh jooohhh... and cutting???!!!...

I got extremely angry as there was an extension power cord WITH a circular saw laying infront of us.. I waited 10 min while he walked away with my slip.. I left my car at the back and went to ask for manager inside.. I very politely ask to speak to the manager regarding the employees behavior and failure to follow their job protocol.. when this man (Counter receptionist at dispatch) heard me polity ask this.. he very quickly changed his tone of voice and told me the manager is not here.

I then personally with no help carried the 3 m huge poles myself.. and put them in my tiny hatch back car sticking out through a window.. so now, I damaged my own car due to this..

And to top it off.. due to me not expecting this upright foul customer service.. I was given a verbal warning by a metro traffic enforcement vehicle for not having a red flad/ banner on the poles for protruding more than 1. 5m out of my windows.

I have contacted a lawyer as this was one of the top the worst experience I have ever had by any shop.

Regards.
