Complaint: Jeremy Smith Store Manager (Ramsgate Branch)

I had sent my cv on the 20/12/19. He was on leave, he made his Salesman from the store phone me to setup a interview for the 15/01/20 at 11:00. I am currently residing in Durban. A day before the interview I travelled to Margate and stayed there to make sure I was on time for the interview. I had to pay for accommodation, fuel and food. The day of the interview, one hour before the interview Jeremy tells the Salesman to phone me and tell me the position is not existent, yet there was a guy that was working in that position as a Estimator/Truss Designer before. I told the Salesman I am going to attend the interview as I paid a lot of money to make sure I am on time to attend the interview. I attended the interview and the Salesman interviewed me. After being interviewed with Salesman, he said he will revert back to Jeremy. He did so and Jeremy asked the Salesman to ask me what my current salary is. I told him and he reverted back to Jeremy. Jeremy told the Salesman that the salary is out of his budget. I then sent Jeremy an email on the 16/01/20 asking him what his budget for the position is and that I am up for negotiations. I have never heard from him until today. Moral of the story is- don’t waste peoples time and money as I am unemployed and I had to borrow the money to attend this interview. I require answers and a resolution.
