Buco hardware attempted ******
I'm a driver at a buco hardware store in Cape Town buco is affiliated with steinbuild/steinhoff and after numerous complaints about conditions of trucks and working conditions nothing happened.four months ago the inevitable happened while on route to houtbay with 2000 bricks on truck the brakes failed in peak traffic I had to drive into our other truck in front of me overtaking a car to come to a stop my story is to long to type on here as I mite loose my job all I need to know is can I get compensation for their lack of responsibility etc etc I'm being ill treated aswell as the other 3 guys that was with me in truck I'm so fed up with big companies abusing the little fish

15 Sept 2020, 14:43just a follow up so after this all happend nothing happend the blame was shifted to me saying i used the brakes on the truck to much lol....the guys that was involved in the accident was slowly worked away ans replaced.last week i resigned and up until today nobody asked me my reasons.....this is the story i received a fine on the truck for not having a cover on the truck and i asked the officer to write it to the company as they take long to pay fines.anyway so after waiting to do my car licence for months being on short time etc etc i finally had the R400 to do the disk just to find out i have a warrent of arrest on my name on the truck i drove...R1300 so after explaining them this is unfair they gave me the R1300 went to traffic court far away and than the prosecutor told me i can have it reduced so i thought sounds fair coz than i can do my licence disk...the fine came to R800 so i gave receipt to work stating im kinda entitled to this due to this was not my fault at all.and than it was said wow this is ***** and im like for real?the fine was paid my name is cleared etcand than i decided im done this is what they wanted to get rid of me doing favours etc fixing their transport etc letting the guys skip lunches etc to do deliveries etc the list of wrong doings can go on and on but its two weeks later aftyer me being forced to resighn to avoid being labeled a ********* nothing happend
