Theft and negligence - do not book here

After having stayed at Buckingham Place numerous times, we were faced with a situation where someone broke into our room while we were sleeping. This crime is not the reason for the complaint, but the manner in which the owner of this guest house treated the situation was appalling. She was callous in insinuating that we stole the items ourselves. After numerous communication with her Brokers, Dias Insurance Brokers, we still have not received our items 5 months after the incident. I am still without a phone amongst other things.<br> I do not recommend this place to anyone, perhaps people of colour as I am uncertain that this would have been the case as a white family. Her hands-off approach and delay tactics make us question whether her staff perhaps were not involved in the theft of our items.
