DAMAGED MY CAR!

BUBBLES & BUCKET CARWAS AND VALET - NELSPRUIT I was there on 29 November to have my car washed. I collected my car at 16:35 and they where closed so the guy just gave me my car keys and left before I was in my car. A soon as I got in my car I felt the steering wheel felt rough. It looked as if someone took sandpaper or something co**** that scratched the shine/top layer off the leather on the steering wheel! they also scratched the centre console by the gearlever. I was very angry. I told my husband as soon as he got home about the incident. He then phoned Dawie at Bubbles & Buckets Carwash and told him what happened; Dawie told him that I must bring the in car the next day for him to have a look. I took the car there the next day (30th of November) for him to look at the damage. He didn't even greet me. He looked, said nothing, took some cleaning products tried to rub of the damage which of course, only make things worse. He tried to fix the scratches on the centre console, also by applying cleaning product, he again ended up removing the shine finish, now it looks dull and ugly. He told me that he will send a man over to my work the next day to have a look at the damage. On Monday 5 December the upholstery guy said that the steering wheel needs to be redone (the old leather should be replaced by new leather). I wrote Dawie an email and told him what the upholstery guy said and that it will cost R1,850.00. He rep**** saying; that he did ask the lady hoe cleaned the car, and she told him that she only used a cloth with water to clean the inside of the car. He also told me that the car is old and that it is from normal wear and tear and not from his cleaners. He also send me his company's disclaimer, and said he will not be paying for any damages. Little did he know that I took a photo of the steering wheel on the 26th of November (3 days before the car was at the car wash) showing that the steering wheel didn’t look like he said. I asked him per email attaching the photo, that he should explain to me how it is possible in 3 days for the steering wheel to be damaged to such an extent with normal wear and tear. He has not come back to me yet, I don't think he will come back to me. I am very angry and would like him to pay for the damages!!! I will never send my car there again!
