Do not buy a bubblegum tablet

I bought a bubblegum tablet 10inch for my baby's birthday from Takealot.com and when u received it I opened it install games on it for my baby not thinking of putting the silicone cover on it as I was going to put it back in the box and wrap it up for baby to open on his birthday which was the 1st of July. I purchased the tablet on the 23 June 2023 and received it on the 27th of June. On the day of baby opening it the 1st July we noticed that the silicone cover was stretched at the bottom I called bubblegum directly to inform them of this misfortune but I was told that I will have to contact Takealot and deal with them which I didn't want to do as I thought it would just delay the whole process, I was also informed that If bubblegum picks up this cover that I will be held responsible for courier fees for picking up from Durban and deliver to CapeTown then back again to Durban just imagine the nerve these cheapskates take your money nicely but refuse to pay for their faulty stuff. I called Takealot the very day from when I spoke to Bubblegum and was told.they will try either have the cover replaced or credit me to purchase a new cover this was dated 4th of July today is 6July and I get an email that without returning the tablet they won't be able to investigate like what the hell you investigating because I only complained about the damn silicon cover which they can by all means pick up but now I have to send back the whole tablet and it's scratched as my baby played with it what a bunch of useless people I've been a bubblegum buyer since my first kid but no more not after this **** services.
