WoW Rip-off

<p>Whilst doing some Christmas shopping, my daughter asked for the World of Warcraft game. Lo and behold, BT Games had the game for R150. When asked why is was cheaper than the rest, I was informed by the salesman that is was on special.</p> <p>Brilliant.</p> <p> </p> <p>While installing, I am informed that there is a subscription cost of around R200 per month to play the game. Not so brilliant.</p> <p> </p> <p>So I phone BT gams on the 24th, wanting to return the game, and get told they are closing in 10 minutes, but their manager will call me after Christmas. OK, so I wait. On the 28th, I get a call and am informed that no return or exchange is possible as I should have read the fine print on the bottom of the box.</p> <p> </p> <p>Had the salesman informed me that the game is so cheap because you spend the vast amounts on subs every month, I would never have bought the game to start with.</p> <p>So BT, you just lost any future business at any of your stores. If this is how you do business, it is a business that I will not support in any way.</p> <p> </p> <p>Well done in protecting your sale of R150.</p> <p> </p> <p>And to top all off, I find a trial version on line - up to level 20 - FOR FREE.</p>
