That’s how they do it

So I visit my local BT games (Secunda) to purchase a copy of Forza Horizon 3. To my surprise it wasn’t on the display shelf – Posters everywhere though. And yes it was released allready.

I thought it was already out of stock so I enquired about it. I was told that they “keep” the copies that wasn’t pre-ordered at the back to give the guys that pre-ordered the game an exclusive playtime access to it?

I tried to explain to him that is what the Forza 3 Deluxe edition was for (Available on Xbox live since 18th Sep). So I asked when I (as the general public) can then buy a copy of Forza then and the guy rep**** a month after the release date on October 28?

I was shocked and pointed out that they are pointing a paying customer away. And asked if they are aware that I could go next door (That big chain toy store) and just buy it there? He explained that that’s how they do it.

I walked out and promptly bought the game right next door for cheaper as well I might add. I wasn’t even harassed about that I must have internet to play the game or a copy of my ID to complete the sale.

It seems to me that the more they are expanding the less customer focus they are getting. A Quick look at hellopeter confirms this.
