Unauthorised debit
I am writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding an unauthorized debit order processed by B Sure Life Insurance against my bank account on 24 July 2026 in the amount of R1,022.56. I have no record or recollection of ever applying for, consenting to, or signing up for any insurance policy or financial service with B Sure Life Insurance. Furthermore, I have never authorized your organization to access my bank account or debit funds via any payment channel. In terms of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and prevailing banking regulations governing debit order mandates: I demand that B Sure Life Insurance immediately cease and cancel any active debit order profile or alleged contract associated with my personal details and bank account. If you claim that a valid policy exists, I hereby request that you provide written proof of a signed, written, or voice-recorded mandate authorizing these debits within 5 business days of this notice. I demand an immediate refund of the full amount of R1,022.56 credited back to my bank account. Please confirm receipt of this complaint in writing and provide a formal reference number alongside your resolution timeframe. Should B Sure Life Insurance fail to refund the unauthorized amount and confirm the permanent cancellation of this debit within 7 business days, I will escalate this matter directly to the Ombud for Financial Services Providers (FAIS Ombud), the National Consumer Commission (NCC), and instruct my bank to place a permanent block on your collection profile.

Unknown debit order
I never had a quote or a policy with them but I found myself having a debit order with B-sure life. I called and enquired , sent the required documents but I was not refunded.
