Terrible after-sales support and not taking any responsibility for defects

My previous report dated 2023/02/17 which is still not resolved refers. I had the ASX inspected on 2023/03/03 by Mitsubishi Motors (paid R2200 myself). The interior heater needed for de-misting the windscreen during rain is not fixable due a wrong outlet coolant housing fitted. The original engine of this Mitsubishi ASX 2L 2013 has been replaced by a wrong engine type (must be single VVT not double VVT). As one option, the outlet coolant housing has to be modified to get it to work. The heater problem was reported to the Sales guy TJ ( who has left the company) as well as a manager Jerome (who has also left the company). Jerome has fixed some issues before he left and I withdrew my bad review. The wrong wipers fitted have still not been replaced. However, when I reported the heater and wrong engine fitted to Louis the manager on 2023/03/04 he wouldn't look up from his laptop and said that it's a second-hand car I bought and I should refer the issue to my Lawyer!!! Louis is not prepared to help me.

Good day , The vehicle is a used vehicle .... a previous owner has fitted a engine . That engine has been recorded on the vehicle natis papers . The vehicle has further had a roadworthy examination done and all was in order . Nothing has been done contrary to the law . All vehicles sold are inspected by buyers ....We are expressly not responsible for damage or maintance  to vehicle after delivery in compliance with consumer protection act law .

Yes, yes, yes... exactly the same words rambled off by Louis the manager (without looking up from his laptop) when I tried to speak to him on Saturday 4 March 2023. What he didn't even give me a chance to say and what's important here and shouldn't be misunderstood, are:
  1. I obviously KNOW the car is second-hand. And I like it and is all I could afford. That's why I chose it!!!!!!!!!
  2. Louis's inspection of the vehicle with me present on delivery took about 3 to 4 minutes. He/we did NOT check the heater.
  3. The sales person who left the company a day or two (not sure) after I had bought the vehicle (and the subsequent departure of Jerome who has eventually also left) caused major confusion. They were fully aware of my complaints that I couldn't drive at all in the rain (the day after I bought the vehicle) due to the wrong (cheap generic) wipers fitted and the heater not working to demist the windscreen. All the WhatsApp's on record.
  4. The change of engine and wrong engine fitted (as pointed out by the Mitsubishi report) is a HUGE disappointment, but I suppose I'll have to live it...
  5. The fact that the heater can not be fixed without an engine modification is huge problem. Not mine. And the car is NOT roadworthy!

If this issue is not resolved or a promise to do so by Bryanston Executive Cars within 3 (three days) I shall escalate further - including the Bank who's financed it.

We take little (sounds stupid - like a heater) for granted in modern cars. When last have you driven in heavy rains - like we've had lately, with wipers too short and flimsy and a misted windscreen when you must look for a cloth and then manually wipe while you're driving to be able to see where you're going in traffic??? Hectic! I had to pull off the road and start stressing now when it starts raining while driving - trying to avoid it...
