Avoid Bryanston Auctioneers

Avoid this disreputable and dishonest business at all costs. One of the worst and most frustrating commercial experiences I have encountered. First time I won some items on their online auction I paid and months later realised I had not received the items - which they sent with no excuse or apology once I followed up. Second and final time, the items were so badly packed that there were all damaged (just thrown into a box). They agreed to a refund and I asked them to arrange a courier to collect, but they said I must courier and they would refund. My office sent it back but the courier costs ended up being higher than what they paid to courier to me so they refused to refund my courier costs. This has left my out of pocket by over R500 due to their own fault for not packing the items properly. I tried to resolve with owner but he refused to refund my costs and slammed the phone down on me. This is an irresponsible business that doesn't deserve to be operating.
